Thanks! That's a good point. The correspondence is only clear if you drag the color picker around and notice which hex encoding is changing. Any ideas on how to resolve it?

Great improvement! Might there be confusion for some users about which hex goes with which color since the patches are horizontal and the codes are vertical?

Glad that you're finding the new developments in blogofile useful. There are definitely still some rough spots, but you seem to have steered around them.

Just so you know, I am pushing all of my change upstream to https://github.com/EnigmaCu.... Ryan gave me push access a few weeks ago, so my work is all going into the repo directly.

Thanks for pushing me to write it up! I've started drafting a future post about how my sites' palette tools have changed over time. The first version which I wrote back in high school is pretty laughable now, but I was so proud of it at the time.

I'd need to do some thinking about how an auto-generated .css file would be designed. It'd have to be markup-independent, and easy to hack up. Maybe a set of rules like ".color1 { background-color: {{ palette.color1 }}; }", etc? Easy to mod. First order of business is adding a way to copy the color (hex/rgb/rgba value) somehow.

Just tested it in FF9. Works exactly like Chrome. IE9... not so much. I wonder if IE9's event propagation is screwed like in previous versions...
